- Start with clean, damp hair: Shampoo and condition your hair, then towel-dry until slightly damp. The gel works best on clean hair.
- Section the hair: Divide your hair into small sections using clips to make application easier and neater.
- Apply a small amount of gel: Scoop a small amount of the Locking Gel and apply it to the roots of each section.
- Twist or palm roll: Use your preferred locking method—twist with fingers, comb twist, or palm roll each section to form locs or maintain existing ones.
- Dry thoroughly: Sit under a hooded dryer or use a blow dryer with a diffuser to set the style and ensure hair is completely dry.
- Style as desired: Once dry, style your hair as you like. The gel leaves a strong hold with minimal flaking.
